If you just want to set your default sound playback device on Windows 10, you can do that directly from the sound icon in your notification area. When I connect it to my PC’s USB port, the computer makes the sound that it has connected. OBS greyed out in Windows App Volume Device Preferences, and there is no sound output.

I'm not certain it ever has, as so far I have used the monitoring device output. When I go into Sound Settings on Win 10 and choose "App volume device preferences" the volume slider against Alexa is greyed out. Hello all, I have a new windows 10 computer and I went to install the g5 driver and PPS on it and it doesn't seem to recognize my device. Pretty much, I set the System Sounds slider to 5% in the system volume mixer and randomly it will reset it's self to 100% making notifications very loud.
This works in most cases, where the issue is originated due to a system corruption. On both my desktop and laptop I have an extra (NTFS) bare drive I want to use for storing apps.
